80 Year Old Pedestrian Hit At Milpitas VTA Alder Drive Parking Lot On February 17, 2022 Then The Driver Fled The Scene
Authorities report that on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at approximately 8:30 AM, an 80 year old man was found unresponsive in the Milpitas VTA Park and Ride parking lot at 516 Alder Drive.
Santa Clara County Sheriff Deputy Russell Davis reports that an 80 year old gentleman had been hit by a vehicle. A Milpitas law enforcement officer was the first to arrive at the scene.
Fortunately, this officer began to give medical aid to the victim. Deputy David explains that the gentleman was rushed to the hospital to treat his injuries.
The Sheriff's Traffic Accident Reconstruction Specialist Team took over the investigation once it was confirmed to be an auto accident that caused the man to become unresponsive. This Team will obtain and review surveillance footage, collect and analyze all other evidence in this tragic case, with the goal of finding out what happened.
Hopefully this evidence gathering and analysis will result in the wrongdoer being located and arrested, so justice can be sought and attained in this horrible hit and run case.
